spring outfit inspo
If you asked me to walk into a clothing store and pick out a few of my favorite pieces, I could probably do so in less than a minute. But actually styling them into an outfit? That would take me much, much longer.
I’m someone who struggles more with putting outfits together day-to-day than I’d like to admit. I’ve definitely run late more times than I can count because I was trying on a few different outfits. Whoops.
So I’m challenging myself to get better at it, starting with a little digital inspiration. Pulling pieces together visually first helps me step back and see what actually works before I’m standing in front of my closet second-guessing everything.
This is outfit #1 of a small spring series. It felt like the perfect time to start. Light layers, natural tones, and pieces that feel easy and elevated.
For this look, I started with a denim jacket and built around it. I like the structure it adds, especially paired with softer linen trousers. Underneath is a simple white blouse, my go-to always. I kept the accessories minimal: black ballet flats, a leather crossbody, small gold earrings, a simple watch, and vintage-inspired sunglasses. It’s an everyday kind of outfit. Comfortable, neutral, easy to move in, but still put together.
